Mercedes-Benz 1019 AF 4x4

Offered here is a Daimler-Benz fire truck – Type 1019 AF with all-wheel drive. This vehicle from the NG model series comes directly from active service with the volunteer fire department. Proper technical maintenance and inspection have always been carried out, ensuring this vehicle is ideally suited for continued use (e.g. as a classic vehicle, expedition truck, motorhome, etc.).

Currently, it is configured as an LF16 with an integrated FP 16/8 pump and an 860-liter water tank (all fully functional).
A trailer hitch (Type 51-G 210) is installed.
Double cab with a total of 9 registered seats.

Note: The radio and other specialized firefighting equipment have been removed. Blue lights must be covered or removed for use on public roads.

Main inspection and safety test were carried out in April 2025 with the result “no defects detected”:
→ next safety test (SP): April 2026
→ next main inspection (HU): April 2027

Mileage: only 17,710 km (vehicle is still in occasional use, so mileage may slightly increase)
Engine displacement: 9,506 cc (large-capacity, high-performance diesel engine)

Maximum speed: 92 km/h (long axle, resulting in lower engine speeds at max. permissible speed on the highway)

This 1019 was delivered by Daimler-Benz to the body builder Ziegler in September 1978. First registration as LF16 and commissioning took place on 30.04.1979.
